Privacy notice

Last updated 14 September 2026. This notice explains what happens to information when you browse the iWash website or choose an external booking, maps, review, or social link.

Who is responsible

Kim Thi Ly Chalakova, trading as iWash Pro Car Detailing, is responsible for this website and the customer information iWash uses. Privacy questions and data-rights requests can be sent to iwash.mt@gmail.com. Its contact address is 46 Triq de Vilhena, Il-Gżira, GZR 1012, Malta.

Information this site handles

This website has no account, contact form, analytics, advertising tracker, or payment facility. It does not store a consent choice or other information in your browser. The hosting provider processes ordinary technical request data, such as IP address, browser details, requested page, and time, to deliver and secure the site. This processing is necessary for iWash's legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website.

Cookies and external services

iWash does not itself set non-essential cookies on this website. The home page includes an active Google Map. When you visit it, Google receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details and may use cookies under its own privacy policy. Setmore, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Sketchfab, and Creative Commons receive information only after you follow one of their links, and their own privacy and cookie terms apply.

Bookings and contact

Booking buttons take you to Setmore. Setmore collects the details shown in its booking flow under its own notice, and iWash receives the appointment and contact details needed to manage and provide your requested service. Calling or emailing iWash sends the details you choose to provide directly to the business. This information is used to take steps at your request, perform the booking contract, communicate about the service, comply with legal obligations, and handle legitimate interests such as preventing misuse or resolving disputes. Where processing is required for a contract, not providing the necessary details may mean the booking cannot be completed.

Sharing, transfers, and retention

Information is shared only with service providers needed for hosting, communications, and booking administration, with advisers or authorities where legally required. Google Maps receives the technical information described above when the home page loads. Some providers may process information outside Malta or the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in their own notices and agreements. iWash limits booking access to authorized people involved in managing the business and its booking systems. A specific customer-information retention period is still being finalized. Information should not be kept longer than needed for the purpose it was collected, except for any period required by accounting, tax, consumer, or legal-claims rules. Technical hosting logs follow the hosting provider's operational retention schedule.

Your choices and rights

You may ask iWash for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information it holds about you, restrict or object to certain uses, and receive portable information where that right applies. You may withdraw consent for processing based on consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. There is no automated decision-making or profiling on this website. iWash normally responds to rights requests within one month. You may also complain to Malta's Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner.
